trying the journal thing!!

Vision4DaY's picture

ok, so ive been working out but i have been eating sooo much. i just eat anything and don't care about it, and feel hungry very quickly. and what i am eating is not exactly the best food. i have tried to get back on track on eating healthy and in right amounts but i fail miserably every time. so this blog is to help me get back in track.and in a way make me feel responsible when i am about to eat something because i will have to jot it down on this journal.

the experiment is going to be for one week. hopefully i will meet my goal. if i do i will take it down to two weeks and so forth.

back workout help please

Vision4DaY's picture

whats up mft member!! it has been a long time since i don't make a blog.

ok i want to know what you think of the back routine that i want to start to do.
i know that the back is compose of various muscles and i don't want to miss any when making a back workout. so if anyone knows of a general rule on choosing a back routine i would appreciate it.

i chose some exercises but i am not sure if they are too much or too little and i am not sure on what some do
so what i am doing is choosing pulldowns, bentover rows, seated rows,(all close and wide grip) and deadlifts

separate abs, crooked abs, weird shaped abs.....

Vision4DaY's picture

so my friends and i were talking about abs yesterday and we saw different videos with people with abs. so we came up across a video with a guy with unaligned abs. it seem as if he only had 5 pack instead of a six pack.
and one of my friends said that that was why he work each side of his abs equally to get them as straight as possible.
then we saw another video with a guy and his abs were separate, the abs on the middle seemed like an inch apart, and he said that looked nasty. and ofcourse we saw some videos with people with align close together abs and he said that is how abs should look.

"Stubborn Muscles"

Vision4DaY's picture

i was reading Arnold Schwarzenegger's : education of a Bodybuilder and he mention something that got my attention. he said that certain muscle were stubborn muscle and one had to focus on high reps more than on high weight to develop them. i really liked the term, "stubborn muscles" . one of these muscle he said were the calves.
in the latest MFT's video on calves sagi say we need to do high reps and feel the burn.
so,
stubborn muscle = high reps w/ lower weight that brings to the burn
non stubborn muscles = normal reps (8-12) high weight that brings us to the burn

ok, so i started working out around three months ago. i started eating nutritious, running 3 miles twice a week, and lifting. my first goal is to get the six pack, which i am getting there. to do so i needed to lose the fat so that they would start being visible.

my friend is one of those persons who has always been skinny and has a hard time getting mass but recently he has been getting bigger.

so, i went to his house right know and he saw me and sad," wow man you have lost a lot of weight, you look good.
