Winter and Fitness
Posted November 21st, 2009 by sassyonyxI am certainly NOT a winter type person. I love the heat, humidity, and summer sun. I find the winter months difficult for me to GET GOING.... But despite the blah of the outside drizzle, the warmth of the gym calls me to stay in shape.
The one thing I do to beat the wintertime blues is to stay busy and active. With weather being a factor, it is difficult to find activities to do on the inside. I cannot imagine living where snow is a mountain high. I would be so miserable.

trying the journal thing!!
Posted November 12th, 2009 by Vision4DaYok, so ive been working out but i have been eating sooo much. i just eat anything and don't care about it, and feel hungry very quickly. and what i am eating is not exactly the best food. i have tried to get back on track on eating healthy and in right amounts but i fail miserably every time. so this blog is to help me get back in track.and in a way make me feel responsible when i am about to eat something because i will have to jot it down on this journal.
the experiment is going to be for one week. hopefully i will meet my goal. if i do i will take it down to two weeks and so forth.
uh oh!

When Scenes Are Not What's Seen
The older I get, the more I think. My kids (I say 'mine' even though I know they belong to someone else) these kids remind me to look within for answers. In my Literary Genre class, we think a great deal. It may not always go in the ways I had aimed for, but the outcomes are always what we ALL needed in that moment.

back workout help please
Posted October 31st, 2009 by Vision4DaYwhats up mft member!! it has been a long time since i don't make a blog.
ok i want to know what you think of the back routine that i want to start to do.
i know that the back is compose of various muscles and i don't want to miss any when making a back workout. so if anyone knows of a general rule on choosing a back routine i would appreciate it.
i chose some exercises but i am not sure if they are too much or too little and i am not sure on what some do
so what i am doing is choosing pulldowns, bentover rows, seated rows,(all close and wide grip) and deadlifts

Thanks guys =)
Busy, busy
Posted October 24th, 2009 by sassyonyxBeen awhile since I had time or made time to blog. Got lots of irons in the fire. Took some time off training and feel even better. Am up about 3 pounds, but not too worried. I manage to fluctuate between 129 and 135. Got lots of students interested in fitness. That really makes my day when someone notices the hard work I have put in. I get more motivated the more I motivate others!

1st Canadian bodybuilding competition
Posted October 9th, 2009 by RavinousHey tribe members... just thought i'd update you guys on my progress. With just 2 more weeks to go, I think I have a handle on where i'm at. For those of you with experience, you know it takes alot of work to maintain everything you're worked for, especially at this particular time. I've fought with myself over everything from how many sets to do to trying out how many hours sleep I need each night for optimal training. It has become ridiculous how teadious this thing is!
