Late repayments less agonizing using new charge card guidelines
Posted August 31st, 2010 by ColeenAOn Aug. 22, a year of credit card reform culminated with the enactment of a final set of new credit card rules. Late payment fees and other penalties are the target of probably the most recent rule changes. Thus completes a sweeping credit card reform effort that started last summer with the Charge card Accountability, Responsibility and Disclosure (CARD) Act with 2009.

Posted August 18th, 2010 by David BermanHave you ever noticed how small things can make a big difference? Here are 5 things to try if you are looking to lose body fat.
Find your PEACE a piece at a time!

Find your PEACE a piece at a time
.
I am one of the types of people that believe there is a lesson in everything. I find it easier to remember aspects of HAVE TO things when I have something to joggle that information and permanently lodge it into my brain. In my classroom, I tell stories to the students that can instill a sense of belonging to what we are learning. We do a great number of quotations, explicating, talking about what the meanings are, interpretations, and positivity is a must!

Make your journey YOUR OWN!

It's no wonder that women have such distorted pictures of the ideal size, shape, and look they should want to achieve. With the onset of the recent Ann Taylor's ordeal with a magazine airbrushing her into a 'smaller size' to suit the mindset of their so-called audience appeal, I found myself asking myself and questioning what realness is anyway. Is what we see all there is?

Exercise Saves Lives
Posted August 7th, 2010 by karenmullarkeyI am sitting in my dad’s hospital room on night duty. He came into the hospital 2 days ago for a heart catheterization because the stress test that he had earlier in the week determined that he had blockage. When he went in for the catheterization they realized that his left main artery had 99% blockage and that he needed to be taken in for immediate bypass surgery. WOW! No one in my family could believe that he went from a routine test, to possibly triple bypass surgery.
Saving money on food can help slim the bill and your waistline
Posted August 6th, 2010 by ColeenAWhen it comes to saving cash, it's not hard to become overwhelmed, but it doesn't have to be that way. Many people believe that saving cash on food, vacations or even retirement is a difficult task that needs a lot of skill and sacrifice. But it doesn't have to be that way, especially for many who start off small and slow with a few minor changes at home.

How REAL is "real"?

It is no wonder that women have such distorted pictures of the ideal size, shape, and look they should want to achieve. With the exposed Ann Taylor's air brushing ordeal of late in the news, people should wake up by now and understand that magazines are full of propaganda.

The Do s and Don'ts of my Miami Vacation

Let's see here's some do's and don'ts:
Don't wear rubber flip flops in the sun for a long distant...blisters hurt on the bottom of your feet like stone bruising.
People! Try to dress with the lights on! The things people choose not to wear to the beach, well, ... you get the picture.
Don't stand too close to the railing by the dolphin show. You may find that water is extremely wet!

Stress and how to deal with it....

stress...what's eating you...
Stress can definitely make you sick. Venting is awesome and seems like by the end of your venting about the stress, you feel better. When you are stressed out, nothing goes right. But I am proof that stress can be lessoned with exercise.
When I am stressed out I workout. I always feel better after a good workout. But there is something else I do and it might help someone else to try this too. I write it all down....

My 5th year has arrived!

Tomorrow I will be at the 5th year mark of my 5 year plan. What's incredible is how far I have come, and what's even more splendid is that I DID THIS FOR ME! I get so excited when someone asks me about being healthy and fit. Recently, my husband and I went to Thailand. Before we went I had to get my travel shots updated.
The Power of the Web
Posted July 16th, 2010 by karenmullarkeyAbout 2 months ago, I received an email from a guy by the name of Mark Patrick Murray out of New York City. He said that he had accidentally stumbled upon my website while looking up a great photo editor also by the name of Karen Mullarkey. Mark is a photographer and was looking to contact her regarding business. The funny thing is, I knew exactly who he was talking about because when I about 8 years old my parents saw Karen's name in an issue of Sports Illustrated.
