Posted June 24th, 2009 by the Q... so to celebrate this blessed event which happens on 7/7 i have taken another pic ... dont pay any attention to the tiny bruises on the legs ... oh, and i hope the white legs dont blind you peeps ...... thepic is in the albulm beside a pic taken in the same whit skirt 10 years ago ... yeah it still fits after all these years ... and still my favorite white leather skirt ...so which pic is the best , at 40 with a blue blouse , or 50 with the black one .?
... the numbers are dropping despite my yo-yo exercising ....
Posted May 14th, 2009 by the Q... i recently had blood work completed and for the first time in 15 years my total cholesterol is below 200.! ... i absolutely was shocked and asked the Doctor if he was sure that was my name on the report - and it was indeed ... he asked if i had changed my diet and i explained that i gave up all theu fruits , vegies and salads and went on a high protein diet eating mainly meats ... his face registered disbelief on the diet , after all meats have far more cholesterol than vegies ... but i say , whatever works ... so that's my good news ....

... i challenge yo to motivate one person this year ....
Posted January 8th, 2009 by the Q... it is the greatest feeling you can possibly imagine ... a lot of you know this to be true from experience ... and if you dont have the experience of lifting somebody up enough to change their life you can make this year the year to do it ... so many of you are in professions where you do help people reach there goals but mostly those are people who come to you ... so i challenge you to reach out and make a difference in some one's life - they are waiting on it ... here's my proof :

Posted January 7th, 2009 by the Q...exactly six months from today i will hit the big 50 and i intend to be the best darn 50 a girl can be ... which means living a h ealthy lifestyle AND loving it ... i am quite challenged at the gym , so i hope i will go and workout ... and when i say challenged i really mean accident prone as in having the carriage of a hack squat machine fall on me ... amazingly the leg did not get broken ... there was also the toime i just walked right into a piece of equipment that i had judged to be farther away from me ... that resulted in a nice knot on the head ...
... eliminating pain medicine ....
Posted January 5th, 2009 by the Q... that is my new years resolution ... last year i elimnated 6 other prescriptions and this year i intend to get rid of the pain meds AND not live in pain ... to do that i must begin lifting weights again ... and probably some additional pysical therapy ... i am a million hour recipient of physical therapy so whats a few more hours .?

Posted January 2nd, 2009 by the Q... well i'l be returning to my home in Fl on Mon and resuming diet and exercise regime ... i need to set a goal because as we all know it is easier to stick to a plan if one does ineed have a goal ... thing is , i really do not have a well defined goal ... when i left home two weeks ago i was at 120 pounds and 27% body fat ... despite all my holiday indulgences i have only gained back a couple of pounds but dont know the body fat % ...

Posted December 20th, 2008 by the Q... this pic was taken of me giving a Reiki treatment in late september and was the reason i decided to renew my diet and exercise regime to lose the sweet tea/ avacado/ rainbow cookie belly ...
... and this is me last night ... i am well on my way to accompishing my goal of getting back into my size 2 wardrobe ...
