Chest Development
Posted March 3rd, 2010 by J_dazzle23Guys,
I have the opinion that if you can develop the upper chest, the lower will follow. I am trying to square off my chest in the bottom middle, and am curious how much of that is related to genetics and how your muscles are shaped, or how much improvement can be made here, and how?
Thanks guys

Workout question(jamo)
Posted July 2nd, 2009 by J_dazzle23Jamo,
Quick question- My workout partner and I have been trying something that he suggested that he used to do back in his competing days...Both of us want to bring up our rear delts, as they are not quite as developed as the front...so we wave been doing some light dumbbell and band work in between sets on chest, and back day, sometimes arms day as well, not working the muscle to failure, but just giving it a light workout between sets and pumping some blood in there and working it a little bit, then giving it a full workout on shoulders day....

A challenge to everybody on this site...
Posted March 23rd, 2009 by J_dazzle23Hi Guys! I hope training is going well!
Me and my buddy are looking for a few ways to step up our training for the spring....long story short, we started a pool at the office for 25 dollar entry, and over roughly three months, whoever loses the most body fat and gains the most lean muscle takes home the cash. Of course, we will be going to the university of utah to get tested for BF etc, tomorrow...
Try it out guys, it is a great way to motivate yourself to get in even better shape!
Ouch!
Posted March 6th, 2009 by J_dazzle23So I was working out legs yesterday with my new lifting partner, who is much stronger than I am, and we got to a sled-like leg press machine...after 3 other exercises.
Casein...new idea???
Posted March 4th, 2009 by J_dazzle23So.....just had a thought. Powdered milk from what I understand is full of casein. If I dont want to spend the money on a casein protein supp(for before bed, say).....I would think that I can mix my when protein with powdered milk and bam! I have a nice casein shake.
What do you guys think?
Legs and soreness and cardio?
Posted February 20th, 2009 by J_dazzle23Hey everybody...Havin' an awesome week, hope everyone else is as well...
Clarification please, Jamo???
Posted February 16th, 2009 by J_dazzle23So going though some of the leg workouts on here, I have discovered on a few of them, we are told to start with isolation movements on legs, such as leg curls, leg extensions, before moving to squats and leg presses, and other compound movements.
My first question is, what is the reason for this?
Second, I have been under the impression that it is most benificial on upper body to start with compound movements, then isolation later in the workout, such as bench presses on chest day, rows on back day, overhead press on shoulders, etc.
Diet...
Posted February 12th, 2009 by J_dazzle23Well guys(and gals), The last month I have been on a "rotating carb" diet, where for 3 days I completely cut out carbs, and then on the 4th or 5th day I will have a day where I eat complex carbs...I have lost about 9 LBS and cut back a percent or two on body fat on this diet, but I do not see this being a great long term solution, as well as that I feel either like headaches for 3 or 4 days, or I am sleepy on carb day.
Progress pics...
Posted February 1st, 2009 by J_dazzle23So I have some progress pics finally up in my profile...you guys would be awesome to let me know what you think...advice...ya know...?
Thanks a ton
