Impacting Lives
Posted July 19th, 2008 by Bonnie PfiesterJoining MyFitTribe has been such a fantastic way to meet people with a healthy common interest. I know I have enjoyed being a part of this community so much. I have met a lot of great fitness professionals, competitors, models and just plain health nuts. I have also noticed there are a lot of people here just getting into a healthy lifestyle. People who are overweight, out of shape and some who just admire the fit because they aren't convinced fitness can work for them like it works for us.
Get NOTICED!! :)
Posted June 18th, 2008 by Bonnie PfiesterDo you want to get noticed? Stand out in the crowd! Trashy pictures and models are a dime a dozen so if you want to stand out, raise the bar and wow people with your professionalism AND beauty.
5 steps to getting noticed as an upcoming professional in the industry:
1. Be professional. If you plan to make fitness modeling a career, then treat it like one. Professionalism will not only make you stand out in the industry but it can increase your pay. If you look or act cheap, you’ll get paid cheap. Be on time, be polite and never let anyone here you complain.
Switching Tunes or Talks
Posted June 11th, 2008 by Bonnie PfiesterI love to run to music, but sometimes it gets old....quick. My girlfriend and workout partner (and also our pastor's wife) told me she uploades different messages from her old pastor from home (She grew up goiong to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in California). Since Steve and I have been traveling so much, I decided to upload messages I've missed from previous Sundays and this morning's run was so good! I not only got to give my body a workout, I got to workout my soul! :)
Something to work toward
Posted June 6th, 2008 by Bonnie PfiesterWhile Steve was on the set of Bridal Bootcamp, I was preparing for a few shoots and a television project - all of which made it very easy to stay in shape. Like Steve said in his last blog, it's much easier to stay lean when you know you're going to be in front of cameras. The problem is, when you are off for a while it's hard to break the cycle and get back in the swing of things..unless something forces you.

We all have a chance to change lives
Posted April 11th, 2008 by Bonnie PfiesterI believe people need real life heroes. This is why reality TV is such a huge draw - especially weight loss reality TV. People like “getting to know” people, watching their lives unfold, and following their victories. This is exactly why Steve and I love being a part of reality TV. We help bring these testimonies into your homes.
