First Bodybuilding Show Training Diary Week 3 and 4
Posted January 12th, 2009 by Bobby AshhurstIt's been pretty busy with the holidays and moving so I wasn't able to post last week so I'll make sure to include both weeks in this one. The past couple of weeks have been up and down. It always seems difficult to keep your focus when your show is still so far out but you have to find it in yourself to suck it up and get done what needs to be done.
Week 3:
I've kept my workouts, supplements and diet the same the past two weeks and I have been able to put on some size since then.
Sunday:
Weight 184.6 lbs
Calories consumed - 2778
Rest day
Monday:
Weight 185.8 lbs
First Bodybuilding Show Training Diary Week 2 of 14
Posted December 27th, 2008 by Bobby AshhurstI just finished up week 2 and ready to share how it went. Since I was having difficulty hitting the calorie range I was shooting for last week I decided to throw in a cheat meal each day to help with that. I was able to hit the numbers I was shooting for this week and more but it appears my metabolism is on fire and just seems to burn off any additional calories I have been taking in. I actually noticed that the cheat meals where giving me headaches so I'm going to go back to eating clean next week.
First Bodybuilding Show Training Diary
Posted December 22nd, 2008 by Bobby AshhurstI have been a competitive fitness model for the last year and tried a lot of different diets and workouts over that time to find out what works best for my body. I have been asked to compete in bodybuilding in 2009. I feel that I achieved great results and although people believe I have gotten bigger over that time in reality I have drastically reduced my bodyfat which, as any competitor knows, gives you the appearance of being larger than you are. I have actually weighed the same weight for the last 8 years.
