A TRIP TO A NEW YOU
Some people spend more time and money on vacations than they do on their own body. With that in mind, I’ve designed a guide to “A Trip to a New You”!
1. CHOOSE A DESTINATION. You have to know exactly where you’re headed. A study once showed graduates who had clearly defined goals earned 10 times the income than those who didn't. The key is making clearly defined goals is to know exactly where you are headed and to give yourself a realistic amount of time to get there.
2. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. When you plan a trip, there are things you must do ahead of time like booking a flight, making hotel reservations and researching the area. The same goes for things like finding a gym, starting a diet or even buying the right tennis shoes.
3. PICK UP A MAP. It's easy to get lost without the right tools. Get the guidance and materials you need to learn the basics of fitness and nutrition. Otherwise, you’re relying on luck and the chance of that working out is pretty slim.
4. GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO ADAPT. It might take a little while to get used to a different climate or time zone, but in time you will adapt. It’s the same with fitness. It normally takes a few weeks to get into a routine. At first you’ll have to make yourself show up whether you feel like it or not. After a few weeks, you'll be used to your new routine. You’ll not only begin to enjoy your workouts, you’ll LOVE the results.
5. SET YOUR SITES ON YOUR DESTINATION. Many travelers post their destination for their family and coworkers to see. This is a great idea for New Year's Resolutions too. Post your goals on the fridge, at work, on your bathroom mirror or anywhere else to keep your goals in plain site. Remember, ‘out of site’ – ‘out of mind’.

The Trip
Yeah you are right Bonnie the trip is the destination also. Working out just seems perpetual in that it is so good for you and, makes you feel so good, while giving you energy simultaneously. OK now for MY trip... TO the Gym...Michael T
