Easy Ways to Incorporate Protein into Your First Meal of the Day

Power Packed Oatmeal

Add a scoop of Pro Blend Alpine Vanilla to a bowl of cooked steel-cut oats to pack in your morning protein. This makes for a complete meal to kick-start your day.

Muscle Mocha or Lifters Latte

Add ½ or 1 scoop of Pro Blend Mocha Cappuccino protein to your morning cup of joe for a low fat, low sugar café mocha. Or add the Alpine Vanilla to your black coffee for a creamy sinless latte.

Sweet Potato Pancakes

  • 3 oz. cooked sweet potato
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1 scoop Pro Blend (vanilla) protein
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 packet Stevia
  • Pumpkin Pie spice to taste

Use coconut oil in a pan, mix all ingredients in a blender or mixer and cook as a pancake.

**These are so delicious, I eat them several times a week… try them, and you will never go back to Bisquick!

Ultimate Protein Bars

  • 1 cup Alpine Vanilla Protein
  • ½ cup quinoa flower
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup oat bran
  • ½ cup flax seed -Coarsely chopped (coffee grinders work great)
  • ½ cup wheat germ
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ cup agave nectar or organic honey
  • 1 cup dark chocolate or carob
  • 1 ½ to 2 cups yogurt cheese
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1tsp best quality vanilla
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and coat a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with cooking spray or coconut oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine protein powder, flour, oats, oat bran, flax seed, wheat germ, sea salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sweetener of choice. Stir in broken chocolate pieces.
  3. In another bowl mix the yogurt cheese, oils and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Place mixture in pan. Press it down and even out the top. Bake on middle rack in oven for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Transfer to wire cooling rack and let cool. Place in air tight container and store in refrigerator. Makes 20-24 bars.

When I used to drink coffee I would always use chocolate protein instead of any type of sugar. People told me that I was weird but you know as well as me it GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even with your oatmeal or eggwhites there's many ways to use it. Ha so I'm not the only weird one.

Haha. I was trying to keep the "mocha" a secret. I throw some flavored choclate whey into my coffee!!!! ITS AMAZING HOT CHOCOLATE!!! WEll I guess its a mocha, ;).

I havent tried that specific protein bar recipe though. I will definitely have to try it out because i havent made homemade protein bars since... years ago.
