Bad Food Culprit of the Week: Cheesecake Factory's 6-carb Cheesecake

Jamo Nezzar's picture

We all know that even though it's so delicious, cheesecake isn’t good for us. So next time you visit the Cheesecake Factory, don’t be tempted to get the 6-carb Cheesecake assuming that it’s better for you than the other Cheesecakes on the menu. One slice has 610 calories, the same amount as the Original Cheesecake, and has 29 grams of saturated fat (the amount you should have in 1.5 days!). So, if you love cheesecake too much to pass up, either have it as a very occasional treat or share a slice with a friend.

yup!

And actually, I think it has more calories than the regular one and probably tastes worse...i look at it this way...if you're going to eat cheesecake or cookies or ice cream, eat the real deal...not some low calorie crap. The fake stuff has more chemicals and isn't that much better as far as fat and calories are concerned...plus it doesn't taste good and has bad after taste. BTW, the new cheesecake at the cheesecake factory is the white chocolate macadamia nut cheesecake and it's to die for...AMAZING!!!!! I'm not saying to eat this stuff everyday, but every now and again you need to treat yourself...and go for the real stuff. Now I'm hungry...lol

haha. omg

garret this somehow doesnt sound atypical for you....

u ppl with fast metabolisms (actually i think there's no such thing :) haha. i think we all of course have different metabolic differences in our DNA and such, but its not such a big difference or maybe it is... but my point is its mostly portion control...and of course total calories in)

even my one buddy who claims to eat like 5000-6000 calories a day.. hes not fat at all, he's a soccer player though so he gets a lot of cardio in each day so hes burninga ton of calories that way... plus he probably eats a little less than he realizes the days after he eats a ton... cuase he wont be as hungry if he eats 7000 one day.. the next day he might not be aware but he'll only probably eat 3000if that.. so ti kiknda balances out i guess. lol

About 2-3 weeks ago I went to my Mother-in-law's house to a function she was hosting for her sister. Had dinner, chilled out, was having fun. Then all of a sudden somebody mentioned that word & the world froze! So as not to look too greedy (since everybody knew what my appetite was anyway), I decided to play it cool & wait until everyone else had their fair share. Luckily for me there were 3. So after I finished eating the last half... lol
