Interval Cardio for Rapid Fat Loss
You may be aware that your body will burn fat faster and more efficiently if you perform cardio sessions first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. That is a good plan to implement, but it's not realistic to be able to do that all the time. However, there is something you can do, regardless of time of day or empty stomach.
For rapid fat burning and increased cardio respiratory benefits, after warming up for 9 minutes on the bike, treadmill, elliptical transporter, stepper, stair master etc…(whatever you like to use) try to accelerate to an all out sprint for 1 minute. Then return to your normal pace and resistance for another 9 minutes and repeat the sprint for 1 minute. Once again, resume normal pace for 9 minutes and sprint for 1 minute. This 30-minute interval cardio session will net great fat burning results and will work far better than your typical 30 minutes of constant pace. There are many other variations of this interval cardio, but this is a good starting point.

Does this work with other forms of cardio?
Interesting, the cardio I do has this element... they call it getting amped. Boy do you feel it. Does this work with other forms of cardio? Like running, stair master... etc. Any sugestions.

Should a person change the interval rate once a week to avoid plateaus?

I'm doing Cardio for 30 minutes.
5 minutes warmup
1 minute sprint
1 minute walking (or slowly jogging)
1 minute sprint
1 minute walking (or slowly jogging)
and so on and so on...
Make at the end of the intervall training a 5 minutes cool-down.
