How much protein per meal?
It’s hard to know exactly how much protein you need to eat per meal. Some people know ounces of chicken, steak, fish etc…and protein grams by simply eyeballing it. But a good rule for you individually is to look at the size of the palm of your hand. The ideal meat protein serving per meal is approximately the same size and thickness as the palm of your hand (not including fingers and thumb of course). You should try and have that serving of protein 3-5 times per day, with no more than 3-4 hours between meals. Then you don’t really need to worry about exact grams. Imagine a lean hamburger patty or chicken breast for example. That’s about “palm” size. Simplify and you will amplify your gains. Keeping the serving smaller will also accelerate your metabolism and improve digestion and assimilation of protein.

simlification helps stay the course..
for example:
you dont have to weigh your foood constantly. pic out a measurement, like your 1/2 cup scoop, fill it with oatmeal, see how much it takes to get it to the serving size of 40g. it's usually flat with the top, then from then on, yo udont have to weigh it to get it exactly 40g to make a serving.
you can just grab the scoop, pull out the oatmeal and bang! you're done.
